Name a new species and two new planets! August 01 - August 15th **CLOSED**
Have you ever wondered how sci-fi authors come up with names for planets, species, people, animals, food or objects? Well, if they’re like me they make them up or “play” on words that are used in everyday common language or even read the credits of a movie or sitcom to nab an unusual last name. Sometimes, for specific characters I will take the name of a loved one and spell it backward.
But for this particular species and planets I thought I would give the readers an opportunity to join in on the fun! I’d like for you to help
me name two (2) planets and one (1) species. What you’ll do is read the description for the items that need a name and based on the description (or just by using your imagination) come up with a name that best suits them.
Enter your choices in the comment form. After the contest is over, I’ll mull over all of the submissions and pick my choices. Please note
that your submissions will be looked at on an individual basis – not as a group entry. Meaning, if you submit two names for planets and one name for a species, I may only pick the species name and pick the planet names from another contestant.
I’ll pick the names after one week of the contest closing and will post the winners on Face Book, my blog and my website.
What the winner will get:
-An opportunity to have their creative thought in a book.
-Free ebook copy of the book where the name was used.

This is the planet that Kiehle Xochis has decided to make his home. He is a mercenary and when he isn’t working he likes to be alone. The planet will not be well populated. Think of it as a sanctuary.
Planet #2: Debut in Dangerously His
Has to have moderate weather. Home to a species that believe in tradition and customs. Will be a small planet with a small community based population.
Species: Debut in Dangerously His
This particular species are open to visitors. They are warm and inviting, they believe in family and community. Every morning they perform a ritual of how they believe the Gods made them and every evening they perform a ritual of the end of times (to them it is a good thing).
