The Undercity Chronicles of Babylonia Jones, P.I. Urban Fantasy series
I’m tall, proud and sometimes wild. Meek and mild have never been words to describe me. Since I was a young girl I knew I was different. Even when I pretended to be normal and ordinary, different resonated within my bones. The wind whispered past my ears, birds sang melodies just for me, flowers bloomed in my presence and animals told me secrets. What I am exactly, or even what paranormal house I belong to, is a mystery to me, but one thing I do know for certain is that I’ll never lead an ordinary life. Why is that, you ask? With a media-hungry Vampire as a best friend, a demi-god ex-boyfriend who keeps forgetting we aren’t dating anymore, and a drop dead gorgeous Vampire I can’t stop thinking about, I can almost guarantee chaos is in my cards. My name is Babylonia Delilah Jones and I am a private instigator for the paranormal world, better known as the Undercity.

What does a woman have to do to prove she belongs in the paranormal world called The Undercity? Sure, Babylonia Delilah Jones is unclassed and only half paranormal, but that doesn’t mean she can’t compete with the big bad boys and solve cases too. Since the established Private Investigators of The Undercity won’t acknowledge her right to a territory, she’s decided the only way to prove herself is to take the dangerous jobs from whoever is willing to hire her. That means working for a witch to spy on Zaid, the Head of the Vampire House. Baby can hear flowers sing, can make grass grow under her feet, communicate with animals and the Wind treats her like an old friend, but nothing prepared her for the Guicai Talisman, or it’s far too gorgeous guardian.
Babylonia Delilah Jones. P.I., or Baby as her friends call her, has gotten her first big break. Solving the case for the Head of the Lycan House would prove not only she belongs in The Undercity, but deserves a seat at the table with the other paranormal private investigators. But while she’s looking for a perp who obviously won’t hesitate to commit murder, her life is being threatened. That’s not enough to stop Baby though. Neither is interference from Zaid, the hot Vampire who keeps popping up at the most inopportune times. The Lycan Job turns out to be anything but a straightforward case. Baby is learning more about the workings of the Undercity than ever before, and what she’s finding out is pretty ugly. It’s making her question everything she thought and knew about the paranormal Houses, and what she’s missing by not being claimed by her father. But that may well be a question Baby won’t get a chance to ponder, because even tapping into every ability she possess might not be enough to help her survive the Lycan Job.
Once a Thief, Always a Thief Publisher: Three Twenty-One, LLC
Babylonia Delilah Jones, P.I. or Baby as her friends call her, has solved cases for the most powerful Vampire in the Undercity and for the Lycan Alpha, proving her worth as a PI. Despite being a half-breed and unclassed, work should be rolling in… Yet it isn’t, and she doesn’t know why. And as if that wasn’t stressful enough, Baby’s mom is starting to act so weird that it makes Baby suspicious. Friends say she’s just starting to live a little—maybe even, ugh, found a boyfriend—but Baby isn’t sure. So what’s a PI to do? Investigate, of course. Baby’s mother has taken care of Baby her entire life. Now it’s up to Baby to make sure that her mom is okay. What Baby discovers is so outrageous it leaves her reeling, but she doesn’t care if once a thief, always a thief, there are some things too precious to be stolen. Baby will do whatever’s necessary to make things right, even walk away from everything she’s achieved—and the Undercity itself.
It's Not Me, It's You Publisher: Three Twenty-One, LLC
Life is good. Baby’s mom is recovering and Baby wasn’t torn apart by the Lycans. Score! Work is rolling in almost faster than Baby can handle, and she might even be able to finally find her dad. The cherry on top? Babylonia Delilah Jones has met a new man. Her new man is giving her all the attention that Demarcus never had and doesn’t make her nervous like Zaid does. Yeah, the new guy is human, so a real relationship might be out of the question, but Baby plans to enjoy his company for as long as she can. It’s nice to have a normal, non-paranormal friend, especially when he’s as handsome as Easton.
When will Baby ever learn that just when she thinks things are going well, that’s the time to expect crazy to rear its head? Nothing is turning out quite the way Baby expected, but through trying to keep her human IT guru out of Undercity business, dealing with a stalker and the aftermath of the best night of her life, Baby has come to one conclusion. It really isn’t me…
I finally know what I am and who my father is. I officially hit the parental jackpot and all those Undercity bullies can suck it! Zaid, the love of my life, is by my side. I finally have my own territory. And Hermes, my grandfather is absolutely adorable. The problem? The guilt of old mistakes haunt me, and the path ahead is anything but clear. With all the Houses trying to trick me into alliances I’m not ready to consider, I have to be cautious. My solution? Get in good my new Pantheon. Even if it kills me. When Hermes convinces Zeus that I’m the best P.I. to solve a string of murders on Mt. Olympus, ego and pride push me to see the case through to the bitter end. History tells me that all it will take is a little bit of luck, trickery, smarts, and a strong will to live to solve this case. But it’ll take a whole lot more to save me and Mt. Olympus from The God Killer.
